The young actor (who recently starred in Real Steel and had a small role in Thor) has revealed that he has joined the impressive cast of Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic Noah, which begins production this week in Iceland.
Darren Aronofsky's anticipated Biblical epic Noah (based on the classic Bible story, as well as the director's European graphic novel) is expected to begin production this week in Iceland. And with that, we have some more casting news. Young actor Dakota Goyo - best known for his role in last year's Real Steel - has revealed via his Twitter account that he will be joining Aronofsky's big budget production, and will land in Iceland on Wednesday.
No word on which character he will play, but stay tuned for more news surrounding the Paramount Pictures-distributed project. Goyo joins previously announced actors Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Goyo, who previously worked with Hopkins in Marvel Studios' comic book fantasy film Thor, will next be seen in Dreamworks Animations' Rise Of The Guardians, in theaters November 21st.
Noah is set to hit theaters March 28th, 2014.
